James Mitchell is Senior Vice President, Investor Relations, responsible for leading the firm’s sales and client service efforts nationwide for ARA’s Taft-Hartley commingled funds and separate account relationships. Most recently, he was National Director of Asset Management Relationship Development for BMO Asset Management working with the institutional labor community. Prior to joining BMO, he was with Northern Trust as a National Director of the Taft-Hartley Investment Client Solutions Group and previously served as Executive Director of the Inter-Local Pension Fund/Graphic Communication Conference of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. He is a member of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, Illinois CPA Society, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and serves as the Director of the Purple Heart Service Foundation.
Mr. Mitchell has over 35 years of experience and earned a B.S. degree from Dominican University in Business Administration and Accounting.
