American Realty Advisors Congratulates Summer Interns
Los Angeles, CA, (August 16, 2018) – American Realty Advisors (“ARA”), an institutional fund manager with more than $8.4 billion in assets under management, offered two summer internship opportunities available to students nationwide. The 2018 interns are SEO Intern, Simon Santurian, and Summer Analyst Intern, Ryan Devine.
In partnership with Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO), ARA’s SEO Internship program seeks to connect talented minority undergrads interested in commercial real estate with industry professionals. During the internship, Simon engaged in various aspects of asset management including acquisitions and dispositions of properties. He also participated in educational seminars, built his professional and technical skills, and received mentorship from top real estate professionals. Simon is currently attending Johns Hopkins University and recently completed the ARA internship program.
ARA’s Summer Analyst Internship program aims to expose interns to a national portfolio of real estate assets providing opportunities to gain real-world knowledge and experience. Over the course of the internship, Ryan assisted the Investment Group, Asset Management, and Portfolio Management teams with market research, financial analysis, and underwriting of prospective investments in institutional quality core and value-added real estate in addition to other special projects. Ryan is currently attending the University of Wisconsin, majoring in Real Estate and Finance, Investment and Banking. He completed the ARA internship program on August 10th, 2018.
ABOUT THE SEO INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
ARA has partnered with The Pension Real Estate Associate (PREA) Foundation to further our commitment of increasing diversity. The PREA Foundation established the first-ever Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO) Real Estate Track, which is dedicated to increasing diverse employment in the CRE industry. This initiative develops real estate specific training content, hosts real estate related clinics and events, and enlists partners to provide summer internships for program participants.
