Richard Massa is ARA’s Executive Vice President, Portfolio Management, where he currently serves as Portfolio Manager and Office Sector Head. In this role, Mr. Massa leads a team of investment specialists providing guidance on overall strategy for office investment within ARA’s commingled funds and separate accounts. Previously, Mr. Massa served in various roles at ARA including Executive Vice President, Portfolio Management, where he was operational portfolio manager for ARA’s core and value funds, and Executive Vice President, Asset Management, where he was responsible for supervising asset management activities in various regions around the country. Prior to joining ARA, Mr. Massa was Managing Director and Partner of Caisson Capital Advisors, responsible for sourcing and underwriting investments, and investment consulting. Before that, Mr. Massa held senior positions in both acquisitions and asset management for Principal Global Investors.
Mr. Massa has over 23 years of experience and earned a B.A. degree from the University of Northern Iowa and an M.B.A. from the University of Iowa.
