The ARA Charitable Foundation Launches an Emergency Matching Gift Program

During this unprecedented period, The ARA Charitable Foundation along with the entire ARA team is committed to supporting our communities and contributing to non-profit organizations that are on the frontlines providing critical aid. The Foundation has a steadfast commitment to lifting others, which is a key component of ARA’s philosophy, culture, and values.

As the COVID -19 crisis has resulted in an overwhelming need for food, shelter and other vital services, The ARA Charitable Foundation is proud to announce an Emergency Matching Gift Program. Historically, the Foundation has matched contributions from employees to qualified non-profits of their choice on an equal basis. Effective now through May 31, 2020, The Foundation will increase its match to $4 for each $1 donated by an ARA employee to Feeding America, American Red Cross, LA Family Housing, and LA Regional Food Bank. These organizations are providing essential resources throughout the country and in our local Los Angeles communities.

Our hope is to provide as much aid as possible and help our employees’ financial contributions go further,” Stanley Iezman, ARA Chairman and CEO.  

In addition to the Emergency Matching Gift Program, The Foundation is providing direct, immediate funds to the listed organizations.
